INSCI Coins Migration to Docuware

INSCI Coins Migration to Docuware

September 15, 2015

DataWatchData Strategies Interchange today is pleased to report on the successful completion of  INSCI COINS (also known as Monarch RMOD, Datawatch BDS, COINSERV, or ESP+Archive) migration to Docuware project.

The customer, a Midwest US County, had been using COINS (also known as Monarch RMOD, Datawatch BDS, COINSERV, or ESP+Archive) for archiving a variety of computer-generated reports and scanned images. Due to cost efficiency and already existing Docuware platform, the client decided to migrate from INSCI COINS to Docuware. The legacy system was hosted on a Windows server and used the Windows file system for storage.

The INSCI Coins migration was performed at the Data Strategies’ secure facility in Houston, TX using its proven off-line document migration platform. Offline migration is a process where DSI performs the migration optimized for best performance independent of end client’s hardware and without hindrance to their daily activities. The project involved processing from some 600 customer-supplied magnetic repository files. Some 4.5 million documents were extracted and delivered together with document indexes in Docuware’s Active Import format.

This was a smaller project compared to other projects done this year but executed with the same attention to detail as the large projects completed this year for major corporations.

Further information about DSI’s document archive migration services can be found here.
