FileBound Migration to Docuware

Data Strategies Interchange is pleased to announce the successful completion of the Upland FileBound migration to Docuware for the county government.

The county jail had been using a FileBound system for digitizing and managing documents for both inmates and personnel. The FileBound legacy system was running on a Windows server, utilizing Windows disk storage for document archival.

Data Strategies worked closely with Toshiba Business Solutions of Syracuse, who were responsible for implementing and configuring the customer’s new Docuware archive. For facilitating the ingestion of the legacy documents into Docuware, Data Strategies delivered all documents and indexes in a format compatible with Docuware ACTIVE IMPORT.

The FileBound Migration was performed at the Data Strategies Interchange’s secure facility in Houston, TX using its proven off-line document migration platform. Offline migration is a process where DSI performs the migration optimized for best performance independent of end client’s hardware and without hindrance to their daily activities.
