OpenText Alchemy Migration

Data Strategies Interchange (DSI) is pleased to announce the successful completion of a Proof of Concept (POC) for a large-scale OpenText Alchemy Migration with a global leader in music-based entertainment.

As part of this engagement, DSI extracted a sample set of 160 million documents, including TIFF, JPG, and text files with multiple overlays ,from 460 DBs , totaling 1.8 TB of data from OpenText Alchemy. Each text document was superimposed with its overlay and converted into PDF format and delivered with complete metadata, in a structure ready for seamless migration to DocuSign SpringCM.

To achieve this, DSI utilized its proven offline document migration methodology specifically designed for Alchemy environments. This API-free, offline approach not only delivered faster performance than traditional online migrations but also ensured zero disruption to the client’s day-to-day operations.
