ASG Mobius Migration for a Major Book Publishing Service Provider

Data Strategies Interchange (DSI) is proud to announce the successful completion of a large-scale ASG Mobius Migration project for a major Book and Periodical Publishing Company.

In this engagement, DSI extracted over 11 million documents  including PDFs, TIFF/JPG images, and Xerox DJDE files — totaling 1.8 TB of data from Mobius / Rocket Software ViewDirect MVS. More than 1,022 unique Report IDs were processed

Following extraction, all documents were ingested into IBM Content Manager OnDemand (CMOD). The entire ASG Mobius Migration was securely executed remotely on client-provided Windows servers

DSI employed its proven offline document migration methodology specifically designed for ASG Mobius Extraction projects. This API-free, offline approach provided faster performance compared to online migrations and eliminated any impact on the client’s daily operations. The entire  1.8 TB DAF files was migrated in just a few weeks, followed by a delta migration to transfer newly added documents and ensure data completeness.
